How we create successful instructors using our fundamental mechanics and lesson essentials

Read in DE

At Interski our aussie demo team will use three simple points to show why we are successful now and hopefully well into the future:

Core Concepts: How we create successful instructors using our fundamental mechanics and lesson essentials

Adaptability: How we produce adaptable instructors by training them to adjust their lesson to suit the guest and their environment

The Future Now: How we support and fast track our instructor’s learning through our teaching app

Australia only has a few snowsport resorts and our instructor association is smaller than other international associations. However, Aussies are adventurous by nature and desire to do more and go further. As a result, we have one of the highest percentage of instructors working year-round and gaining a wealth of experience.

The Australian alpine environment can be tough. With a short season, varied weather, snow conditions and resorts that require their instructors to provide multiple short lesson products in the one day. Under these influences “success with our guests” – who are time poor and have minimal snow experience, is crucial to the future of snowsports. In Australia, participation in snowsports remains stable and Australian skiers and riders make up a large percentage of the international visitors to many resorts around the world. Our instructors inspire their guests to ski/ride no matter the challenges!

Join us for our discipline specific indoor lectures and on snow workshops to learn more about how we achieve success:

Alpine: adapting our core concepts to any lesson
Snowboard: adapting our basic skills for the performance level
Telemark: adapting our telemark movement to suit conditions
Nordic: adapting nordic lessons to suit our environment
Adaptive: adapting snowsports in australia
